Get the file
From Trail: Products → filter to Mortgage → Export Selected. The file works as it is – Lender, Loan Amount, Interest Rate, Fixed Term and Review Date are picked up by name.
Or the template: Download the template (Excel). Fill the Clients tab; the second tab shows an example row.
Must-haves: client name, email or mobile, lender, and the date the fixed rate ends (Trail's Review Date). Everything else makes the client's page better but can be blank – the client confirms it.
What happens to the file
It is read here, in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere tonight; the book is kept in this browser only and shown on the dashboard. The database arrives tomorrow and with it your own sign-in and your own space.
Dates are read the New Zealand way (14/01/2027 is 14 January). A date that cannot be read is left blank and counted – never guessed. Lenders in today's rate table: ANZ, ASB, BNZ, Westpac, Kiwibank; any other lender still works, without a rate comparison.
